We spent the Easter weekend with our friend group at Railway House. The house was spacious, with enough room for everyone to enjoy themselves. We had breakfast in the kitchen, spent time in the gaming room, there were enough bathrooms. And of course we enjoyed the lovely town of Scarborough. Definitely will return again
We were an extended family of 17 to celebrate an 80th birthday. Age range 880 and we had a fantastic time. The house had so much space that we kept having to go search for people! Was spotlessly clean, beds were comfortable and the outdoor patio area with hot tub was a hit! You can even lean over the fence and see the longest station bench in the world ! Really convenient location with supermarkets and pubs in walking distanc and not too far from the beach. I cant think of anything negative to say at all. 100 recommend!

We stayed at Railway House to celebrate my Nans 80th birthday and honestly, we had the best time. The house is absolutely perfect beautifully maintained, spotless, and you can tell its really cared for. Everything felt comfortable, spacious and ideal for a big family gettogether. It had that rare mix of being impressive but still feeling homely, which made the whole weekend even more special. What really stood out though was the owner. They were so involved, helpful and genuinely wanted us to have a lovely time. Nothing felt like too much trouble and that made such a difference. Weve made some incredible memories there and wouldnt hesitate to recommend Railway House for a special occasion. Thank you for helping us celebrate such an important milestone in the best way possible.
Excellent spacious quality home superb high level accommodation all the required amenities to make your stay a pleasure. The location is also good 5mins walk into the town centre good choice of pubs and restaurants.
We as a family of 15 were there to make memories over the Christmas period 2025. Description was spot on. Location perfect and the house itself was all that we expected and more. Catered for ages from 4 years old to 78 years old. Every room was spacious, clean and great for a family. The 2 different lounges worked really well and the kitchen, dining area was perfect too. I would highly recommend this property to anyone communication with owners management was excellent too. Thank you for letting us stay at such a fabulous property and being great hosts Gayle

Railway house definitely delivered on all levels, 4 generations were very comfortable in a beautiful home, parking was spot on as well, although there were 20 of us, we didnt feel we were on top of each other, the kitchen was mega equipped for a large part of people and exquisitely decorated. Great holiday property with all facilities needed to have a comfortable break with a large group. There were 16 adults and we had a great weekend. The place was just as described online. The hot tub was a good size, fitting 10 of us in and all the rooms were lovely. The kitchen has all amenities to allow us all to enjoy a drink and cook a meal.

Just back from a fantastic weekend with 22 of us celebrating my Hen Weekend! The only comment made over weekend was more mirrors or even a couple of long mirrors but that was it . It had everything we needed.
We celebrated 50th birthdays at your property and were blown away with the size,decor,facilities etc. All the guests were extremely happy with their rooms and our stay was perfect. We would definitely recommend you or even visit again.

Absolutely fabulous house, easily accommodated all 19 of us. Ages ranging from 2 to 80, it catered to everyone's needs. Gorgeous rooms with plenty of entertaining space and a table for all of us to gather around for a meal. Being in the centre of Scarborough, we had a lovely time and would definitely recommend this accommodation, if you're wanting a stay with a touch of luxury. Fantastic place
15 people used the property to celebrate a70th birthday. Found the place to be very clean and comfortable made use of most of the facilities didn't do a lot of cooking or clothes washing as we were only there 3 nights. The ladies in the group felt there could be more mirrors and hairdryers but overall an excellent venue. So good we rebooked before leaving.
We had a group of 20 ladies for a girly weekend, as we do every year. The quality and standard of the cottage was head and shoulders above other cottages we have stayed in. The booking process was seamless, and contacting the owner was very simple. The owner was very approachable and welcoming. The owner went above and beyond by not only providing 3 towels per person for the bathrooms but also extra towels provided for the hot tub. It was a really nice touch to have a hamper waiting for you when you arrive, as well as basic supplies like bread, milk, dishcloths and tea towels, as well as dishwasher tablets, etc. There is enough seating round the dining table with plenty of space, as well as plenty of room in the two sitting rooms. The bedrooms were spacious with comfortable, clean beds and the decoration throughout was very modern. We got home yesterday and have already contacted the owner to book again for our trip next year!

We had a lovely stay in the house. The house was spotless on arrival the cleaners do an amazing job. The kitchen is very well equipped. Hot tub fantastic, we the family of grandparents, parents and children had more than enough space to be together or to have space. Close to the town, you really couldnt be in a better location. We have had a fabulous weekend staying in the Railway House, it is absolutely stunning! Before we arrived the owner informed us the Hot Tub was currently out of use but he tried his very best to get this fixed for us and kept us informed throughout. The only thing we felt was missing was a full length mirror being an all girl group, but other than this we wouldnt change a thing!
Fantastic property finished to a very high standard . All rooms are bright, airy and spacious and plenty of bathrooms to accommodate our group of 14 plus a baby. The railway line at the bottom of the garden and the proximity to the station may put some people off but you cant hear the trains at all in the house. Jamie, the owner is very amenable and was quick to resolve any issues we had . Great location , short walk to the sea front , plenty of places to eat close by and 2 supermarkets only 5 minutes walk away Would highly recommend this property to any large group
Excellent amazing property as per listing. Great hospitality and welcome generous welcome pack and friendly, readily available host when needed nothing too much trouble. Maintenance and cleaning perfect cleaning and fresh linen provided half way through 2 week stay this was really appreciated, excellent and non intrusive. A fantastic stay for big group of family and friends. Happily stay again.
We couldnt have picked anywhere better to celebrate my husbands 70th birthday. Our children, their partners and grandchildren 21in all we all loved the house! It was absolutely perfect in every way. The amazing space! The beautiful decor! The facilities! Everything perfect!! The owner Jamie was extremely friendly and helpful. The property itself is gorgeous and very conveniently located to access the town centre and sea front. Unfortunately, the owners false accusations of damage means that I cannot leave a fully positive review. Fortunately, I have photo and video evidence to prove that the damage was there on our arrival so if you do decide to stay here I strongly suggest taking images of everything immediately on arrival in case you are accused of damage like us. I wouldnt recommend staying based on the negative communication and lack of professionalism from the owner unfortunately.

We cannot rate this property any higher, it wasis amazing and would highly recommend for any large groups looking for quality accommodation. On arrival the standard was immediately obvious, so clean and extremely well maintained. The kitchen was well equipped for the number of guests, with everything thought of. The welcome hamper was beautiful and very much appreciated. The location of the property made it so easy to actually walk down to the front promenade even with children! The group enjoyed the stay so much we will be returning next year!!

The house is stunning both inside and outside. There is plenty of room for at least 6 cars small to medium size and even though its down a side street once youve driven in you could be anywhere. The house backs on to the railway but you barely hear the trains, obviously a big hint in the name
