We loved it but for few things. The bath seals were inadequate. Twice, whilst using the 2nd floor bath and the 1st floor shower, water poured down into the room below. We called the owner and called out maintenance. We could see from the ceiling that there had been a major problem in the past. The seals used around the baths were very rough and un professional. Plus, the shower screen on the 1st floor was in adequate for the pressure of that shower. We were left feeling anxious about using them again for the rest of the holiday. Such a shame because they were lovely and big, with a high pressure shower on the 1st floor. Also, the washing machine vibrated SO VIGEROUSLY, it made me feel nauseous when in the kitchen.
Psalm cottage was an ideal place to stay to be very close to the South Bay Sea Front being about 5 minutes walk down to the Harbour. The property was clean and very comfortable with plenty of room for six. WiFi was very good and bedrooms were very nice and roomy. The only thing I would criticise was a leak from bathroom through to living room when bathshower was used. And the bathshower would have been easier with a grab handle for those of us who are a little older. On street parking was a difficult to find a space but that was probably because it was peak season. On the whole I would definitely give 4.5 stars and definitely use this property again.

The property was in an excellent spot ,property was comfortable and excellent bedrooms ,right in the centre of Scarborough, sea just round the corner and some really good restuarants ,we enjoyed the open top bus very good value takes you down to where the sea life centre is and Peaseholm Park with lots of r ides and activities,would certainly book again .
On Arrival the property was well presented and looked exactly as shown in the listing. The First floor Toilet had a problem but it was repaired very quickly not long after we contacted the agent. The Television was unwatchable unless using the Internet, it also had two bands of distorted Led. The kitchen is well kept but the pans have seen better days,with nonstick peeling. Both Baths with showers over have no curtains they are impossible to use without getting water on the floor. Both Bathrooms are not sealed around the Baths or Skirtings. There is a large water stain on the living room ceiling that looks to have been there for some time
