We have stayed at West street about 8 times now and we love it and can not imagine staying anywhere else. At the end of every visit we do not want to leave. The house is like our 2nd home. It has everything you need and more. The wonderful welcoming feel you get the second you walk through the door makes you know that you are home.

Beautiful restoration of property which we appreciated. Kitchen organisation a bit tricky as focus for everything seemed to be in same place it delayed things to take turns In the space. However kitchen very attractive, which we loved. Full length mirrors in bedrooms would be good. Overall a great property!! Well done !! We would recommend.

Fabulous stay for my mums 60th birthday. The house is lovely and was perfect for our stay. The bedrooms are all a really good size. The host left us a bottle of milk and prosecco in the fridge and there was plenty of things like tea and coffee in cupboards, what more could we need! Thankyou so much .. Location is great. Short walk to south beach. Also a lovely little Italian restaurant 2 minute walk from the property called Tuscany Too. I would happily stay again.

This house is absolutely stunning, Sue has great taste & you won't be disappointed! We didn't need to rush out for teacoffee as it was all there, as was the larder cupboard which we were told to help ourselves. The house itself is just a short walk to the beach & promenade, so ideal for a holiday home. It was absolutely immaculate, we only arrived home yesterday & are looking at booking again.

The accommodation at 39 West Street was exceptional and we had a truly amazing time. There are more than enough facilities to accommodate a large group and the property is furnished to a high specification. The property is located a short walk to the sea front and roughly 20 minutes into the heart of town. We would thoroughly recommend this place.

This property did not disappoint, it suited my family's needs perfectly. The bedrooms were a good size and the beds were comfortable. Basic essentials were left for our use eg. teabags, coffee, kitchen roll etc. even dog bowls and treats for our furry friend. This house is a good base for visiting Scarborough and the surrounding towns and villages. Sue the host texted before our visit and was available by phone should we need to contact her. I would certainly stay there again if we decide to holiday in Scarborough again.

This is a lovely happy house that offers everything a large group could need. We have stayed here for the last three years and the house has done us proud and been filled with laughter. Unfortunately, with growing grandchildren the configuration of bedrooms no longer quite works for us but we will miss such a warm and welcoming house.

Absolutely loved this housethe photographs online really dont do it justice. It was spotlessly clean and even smelt lovely. Be prepared for a few rattles and creaks if its windy! But its worth putting up with for the beautiful windows. Everything has been thought about and provided, clear explanations of how to use things. Excellent location, only moved the car when going out of Scarborough. Town and seafront much closer than anticipated as well as local shops and takeaways etc. We are hoping to relocate to Scarborough in a few years time and try to visit 23 times a year, 39 has really spoiled us! Could not recommend more highly.

Brilliant house, beautifully decorated and furnished and had plenty of room for our family celebration with 3 generations of adults and kids. It is also immaculately clean with lovely touches like crisp bed linens and shower gelssoaps provided in the bathrooms. The kitchen is the hub of the home with every appliance you could wish for, we spent a lot of time in there. It also has a log burner and guests can use the condiments and tea and coffee provided. Sue the owner is great and nothing is too much bother. The house is also a nice downward walk to the spa and beach. We were blessed with great weather so all in all had a fantastic stay. I wouldnt hesitate to recommend this lovely house and we will definitely return.

This house was perfect for our 3 generational family stay. Apart from being beautifully furnished, it is warm, spacious, the beds are very comfortable and the bathrooms are spotless. The kitchen is very well equipped and the selection of games is great. The location is fantastic and easily within walking distance of Scarborough and local amenities. We have just returned from a weekend with the family celebrating an early Christmas. The house was amazing and provided a great space for us to celebrate as a family. The house is spacious, very well maintained and just lovely with everything you need including Christmas decorations. It is well situated and immaculate with a great mix of modern and traditional features. It was lovely to just sit around with the log burning fires which made the place a home from home. We had such a wonderful stay at 39 West Street, the house is full of beautiful original features whilst also having the balance of new & old. It was a lovely surprise for us to arrive and the house be decorated for Christmas, this really topped off our stay to make it feel magical. Sue made us feel really welcome, providing a stocked pantry, coffee machine, milk, cleaning products and even a treat of a bottle of fizz! This is our 5 th time we have stayed at West Street and as soon as we put the key in the door and open it, its like we are coming home. The house wraps you in a huge hug and you instantly feel relaxed and all your worries disappear for the duration of your stay. This is the most gorgeous house we have ever stayed in, in Scarborough and will always return. The kitchen is super modern with all modern cons and then some. The kitchen also has a lovely log burner installed for those cozy nights in the kitchen playing games. The lounge also has a log burner and really comfy sofas. The bedrooms are simply stunning and Ive never slept in such a huge comfy bed. I never want to get up. We also have the luxury of bringing our dog and there are always plenty of dog treats and bowls left for our furry friend. I cant wait to book again and come back home to west street

Glorious stay at 39 West Street. Amazing house with plenty of room for the 9 of us for a family celebration. Sue was brilliant at responding to any queries we had! Beautifully decorated. Comfy beds. Kitchen well equipped, took our own airfryer which helped cater for 9 people as we enjoy cooking up a storm in the kitchen. Coffee machine was enjoyed by all! Oil filled radiators kept all toasty on floors 1 and 2 and plumber visited on same day when we had a plumbing issue. Great jaunts out to Stephen Joseph Theatre, Escape Room Scarborough, Whitby, York, Robin Hood Bay, Rowntree Lodge on West St for an amazing brunch and fab fish and chip supper from Ramshill Fisheries. In a lovely quiet area of Scarborough with town centre just a 1520 min walk away and we made use of Cliff Lifts when needed. Thank you Sue we so enjoyed our stay!

The home is in a great location and the area was very quiet. The home has everything you could possibly need and more. The beds were very big & comfortable. We loved the coffee machine in the house so much that weve just purchased the same one today. Sue was fantastic with communication and responded very quickly. Everyone in our party loved their stay and We cant wait to book this home again.

This is just a wonderful house that fits our family needs perfectly. It is stylish, well equipped, comfortable and has all the facilities you need for a perfect holiday, including a superb location just minutes from the beautiful sandy beach and a pleasant stroll into town for shops, restaurants, galleries, the theatre etc. You really should book this house as it is brilliant but please dont book it the week we want to come.

The house is beautiful and a very carefully thought out combination of modern and traditional. The kitchen diner is wonderful and everything is provided. The five bedrooms are all themed and the bathrooms are very well set out. No fighting for bathroom space as there are so many options. The owner had thought of everything to make the house comfortable and practical and had left welcoming gifts. This is by far the best holiday rental house that we have ever stayed in.
