We have had a fantastic weekend at church view. It is finished to a very high standard with everything that we needed. The hot tub was a great bonus. Our stay at Church View was amazing! Very smooth checkin checkout process, the house is very clean, very comfortable, in the perfect location beach shops pubs only a 5 min stroll away. The landlord answered our message straight away when we had a problem with the temperature of the hot tub which ended up being our doing . If there was one suggestion I could give and Im nit picking is there was no mirror in the first floor ensuite bedroom other than in the actual bathroom itself. Wed most definitely return, very highly recommended!
Church view is a nice place but could be a great place. We had a few issues which were quickly addressed by the owners so thatg was fine but here's a few recommendations 1. The showers were almost universally unpredictable. My shower the room on the top floor could not have any heat adjustment. Therefore what you got is what you got. Sometimes it was way too hot, sometimes too cold. The heat adjuster simply didnt do anything. Likewise the other guests all had a laugh every morning as to how hotcold their showers had been. 2. The dining chairs are WAY too low. When you sit at the table you feel like you're in the Hobbit. I generally went and got a pillow to sit on to try and reach the right height I am nearly 6 ft. 3. The lighting in the living room is horrendous. Just a big main light in the middle which makes the room feel very grim. There is a weird lamp which throws off very little light in a corner of the room. I just got the lamps from the bedrooms and turned those on to make the room feel more cosy. There are numerous other things that could be improved but just those adjustments would make a big difference to other guests stays. As I say, we had a great time, but that's mostly because we're able to laugh off all the silly things that were annoyances. Other guests may not be as....amused....

A really lovely stay, lots of space and beautiful kitchen for a large group. Well equipped and lots of nice touches, such as extra towels for the hot tub. All the rooms were spacious and spotless. On street parking was never a problem and we always managed to park within a few meters of the door. We would definitely return to Church View in the future.

The host was fantastic , nothing a problem he was available at all times for help. parking is a little tight but you get parking permits and it is very close to the centre and bus stops near by. The property was clean quite well kitted out and had good wifi signal. Great hot tub and a nice hamper on day one. Bedrooms great could have done with a dressingmake up mirror in master bedroom. could do with Knife sharpener for the cutlery and a new potato peeler. But all in all great stay.
This was a lovely property. One of my sisters left some earrings and they were quickly sent back to us, she was very grateful. Its in an ideal spot, near bus route and just a short walk into town.

This house was absolutely amazing, it had everything there that you could think off and need for the perfect weekend away. The hosts were fantastic and only a phone call away if we needed anything at all, and the hamper left, was a lovely touch and beautiful. Went with a group ranging from 1765 and it was ideal for everyone, and plenty of room and space for everyone to enjoy themselves. Thank you so much, we will defo be back again! X
We all loved our stay at Church View. The house is of a very high standard and perfect for our family get together. The only thing I would say is more cooking utensils would be of benefit in the kitchen.
Gorgeous property. Very clean. The only issue we had was the hot tub being on a timer. It meant the water wasn't hot enough til later on in the evening. We couldn't get in it until around 89pm the first night. Second night around 9pm and it goes off at 11pm. So never got much use out of it. We were planning on going in at 45pm but it was too cold. Would recommend.
We had the best time possible. The property is beautiful and large and considering how many people there was staying 8 adults and 2 children we all felt we had our own space inside and outside. I would highly recommend this property and also Sykes cottages which we will definitely be using again. Thankyou.
Gorgeous property and finished to a high spec. Had everything you could possibly need including a spacious hot tub. We were a party of 11 adults and 3 children and all had the best time. 1010 for the host too who was so helpful with any questions we had pre arrival! Highly recommend and would love to stay here again.

The photos do not show how large this property is. There was 12 of us and we loved it. The kitchen and dining area was a good communal hub when we ate in. Living area great for chats with a cuppa. Bedrooms and bathrooms, lovely. Bedding and beds comfy. Hot tub for 6 at a time. Communication was good with owner. Great walks around
Absolutely wonderful! Beautiful house, great layout which meant our large family could all get round the table or spend time on an evening in the living room, the space was perfect. Extremely comfy beds! We all loved it. The house is in a great location, roughly a 10 minute walk or 5 min drive from the centre, and it's very helpful that parking permits are provided for the amount of cars you are taking. The host was fantastic, informative and helpful. Couldn't recommend enough!

This house is phenomenal, 5 Star, the decor and furnishings are first class, even down to the hamper there was loads of foodchocolatesProsecco in it and cleaning products left. The bath towels are beautiful and fluffy. It is a fabulous short walk to the beach. The owner leaves parking permits for each car you have in your group, they definitely want your stay to be perfect. My children were amazed that there was a PS4. The bathrooms are just WOW. We can't wait to return, not one person could find fault with this house, book it now you will not regret it.

Church view is the best holiday home we have ever stayed in. Highly recommended. Jamie the owner was very kind and helped us get extra parking permits. The welcome hamper was a nice touch, and whilst Jamie could not change the weather he made sure the house was lovely and warm for us. Could not have asked for more. What an incredible house! Newly renovated, very well thought through layout, with a wonderful big kitchen diner for everyone to congregate in. The main bathroom is huge, real wow factor! Comfy sofas in lounge and big enough for everyone to be together in there. Very clean house, comfy beds, and lots of thoughtful touches like the welcome hamper and basket of towels downstairs for hot tub. Fab hot tub, kids and adults both absolutely loved it! Great stay that was enhanced by the wonderful weather! One of the best hot tubs and great outside space. Good size rooms, comfy beds, only about 10 minutes stroll to the train stationhigh street. Couple of little niggles but contacted the owner & all sorted.

There's only one word to describe the house. .. AMAZING! The property was so clean and well maintained. The photos don't even do it justice. It is the perfect house for a get together. A pergola or similar over the hot tub would maybe take it up a notch but other then that, we couldn't fault it. The only thing I would say is that it's not great if you're not all mobile it's quite a way to the top bedroom!

I stayed here for my 40th birthday with the girls and it was just amazing we all had the best time. It is in a great location with plenty of parking for the price you just cant beat it. We are already planning the next reason to come back.

This is a stunning property, completed with care and quality, all of which helped to make our visit to Scarborough so enjoyable and successful. We were a large three generational group and there was everything we needed in the property, the hot tub a bonus. The host was easily contactable and very helpful. Highly recommended in all ways.
We had a very lovely Christmas at Churchview with our extended family. The house was beautifully furnished with comfy rooms and beds. The hamper was a welcome extra as was the hot tub which the younger members enjoyed. Had very good communication with Jamie the owner and any queries quickly sorted.
