About Owls Rest

Owls Rest is a four-bedroom cottage at Killerby Old Hall in Cayton, just outside Scarborough on the North Yorkshire Coast. It sleeps up to eight guests and sits within a larger estate that can accommodate up to 54 people across several properties making it a strong choice for big group celebrations or family gatherings. The private hot tub is a real draw for groups wanting to unwind together.

The estate sits in a quiet village setting with a pub, shop and restaurant just 500 yards away. The beach is one mile from the door. There's a small lake on site and a large courtyard to the front.

Inside you get four bedrooms across three floors. The ground floor is fully open plan with a Sky TV lounge, dining area and a well-equipped kitchen. Upstairs are two double bedrooms (both 4ft 6in) plus a shared bathroom. The top floor has two twin rooms. There are three bathrooms in total.

Scarborough is four miles away. Robin Hood's Bay is roughly 45 minutes by car. Dalby Forest (Go Ape, mountain biking) is around 30 minutes. York is one hour up the A64.
