32 Quay Street, Scarborough

We stayed at 32 Quay Street for a midweek break and it was everything we hoped for. The little touches made all the difference fresh towels folded in each room, a wellstocked kitchen with everything we needed, along with other treats throughout the property. The utility room was a brilliant surprise too, so handy for washing beach towels and swimwear between days out. The space itself worked brilliantly for our family. There was enough room for the kids to spread out with toys in the living area and games room while the grownups could still chat in the kitchendiner, and the layout meant nobody felt on top of each other even with three generations under one roof. The beds were comfortable and the blackout curtains were a lifesaver. Were already planning our next visit.

It was a last minute booking after having a last minute cancellation, but it ended up the best thing to happen. I wish I had seen this house to book in the first place. Perfect location on a quiet street just behind the harbour. We Couldnt have asked for better. The house was exceptional, the welcome pack was incredible, lots of snacks for when we arrived that lasted us all holiday. Even had wine and beer and milk and plenty of crisps, biscuits, pop and treats. The host really went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. The bedrooms were large in size and the beds were comfortable including a fan in each room and a hair dryer. The pictures of this property really dont do this house any justice, with its spacious living area and large kitchen diner. They had even provided bubble bath and shower gel in all bathrooms. The games room was brilliant, with a xbox in there and variety of games in the cupboard suitable for all ages. We dont have a bad word to say about this property. We would recommend this property for everyone to stay. The property has space for 2 cars on the front, but anymore cars theres a car park only steps away which was very easy to park in. The host was there to greet us which I found a nice touch. He did offer to move his car for the 3rd car, which was really lovely of him. We will definitely be wanting to stop at this house again. After returning home after a 3 night stay at 32 Quay St with my sons, graddaughter and gt grandson, 7 in all, I cannot praise too highly the delightful premises. Upon entering itvwas a WOW at the beautiful decor, furnishings, furniture and most generous welcome pack which was over and above all expectations. I have no hesitation in recommending the property which has parking and close to all all amenities when looking to stay in Scarborough. Rating 1010. Barbara

We had a fantastic stay and would highly recommend this property. From the moment we arrived, it felt like a real home from home. The welcome pack was a particularly thoughtful and generous touch especially after a long journey. It was well stocked with essentials and some lovely extras, which meant we could settle in and relax straight away without needing to go out for supplies. The house is beautifully presented, spotlessly clean, and extremely well equipped. It is very clear the owners have gone above and beyond, putting an exceptional level of care and attention into every detail, which truly makes this property stand out. It is easily one of the best holiday homes weve stayed in. The location is excellent less than a minutes walk to the quay and a great array of eating places, while also providing the perfect base for exploring Scarborough and the surrounding area. Its a lovely place to return to at the end of the day. We would particularly recommend visits to Whitby a must, Flamborough Head, and York. Weve been left with some fantastic memories, wouldnt hesitate to return, and would highly recommend this property to others.
